Fragrant Hills and Jingyi Garden
Fragrant Hills Park is a royal park featured with scenes of mountain forest. As early as Yuan Dynasty, Ming Dynasty and Qing Dynasty, the royal established the detached palace and the house at the park in Fragrant Hills for emperors to hunt animals and enjoy cool in summer and autumn.
Longevity Hill and Summer Palace
The Summer Palace,dominated by Longevity Hill and Kunming Lake, is a vast ensemble of lakes, gardens and palaces in Beijing. It gets the reputation of the “museum of the royal garden”.
Yuquan Mountain and Jingming Garden
Jingming Garden (Garden of Tranquility and Brightness) is situated outside the Xiaodongmen of Yuquan Mountain. It has been a famous landscape resort in suburb of Beijing since ancient times.
Old Summer Palace
The Old Summer Palace, known in Chinese as Yuanming Yuan, was the main imperial residence of Qianlong Emperor of the Qing dynasty. Widely conceived as the pinnacle work of Chinese imperial garden and palace design, the Old Summer Palace was reputed as the "Garden of Gardens" in its heyday.
Changchun Garden
Changchun Garden (Garden of Eternal Spring) is situated to the south of the Old Summer Palace and the west part of Peking University, with the former address of the “Tsinghua Park" constructed by Li Wei, the grandfather of Ming Shenzong of the Ming Dynasty.
